1,2, 3 camera action

This week I started filming my film opening.  The setting I choose is a my dad's office. My dad is going to be the main character in my opening film. I started following the storyboard that I did, doing the shots that I had in mind. After that I got inspired and I started taking different shots that I thought it will work pretty good for my opening. I really like this shot doing a pan movement from left to right and finishing in an over the shoulder of the main character typing. I am thinking to incorporate this shot at the begging of the film opening.

  1. Hi Arianna!
Despite the uncertainties that you were having at the beginning of this project about your overall plan for your piece, it looks like everything is finally coming together for your project. Your project seems to be going smoothly. This is absolutely wonderful to see!
I like how you included a lot research and thought into deciding the genre and overall idea of your film. Your use of images and videos are a great addition to your blog. I was having trouble opening your most recent video because it is supposedly on private, but I'm sue this is a quick and easy fix. Your very personable through your writing which also makes your blog very appealing to the reader and intended audience. While I was reading through your blog, however, I did notice a few grammatical errors. I would suggest going back and just double checking for spelling and punctuation errors.
You seem very excited about your project and I am looking forward to seeing the final product. Continue to keep a positive mindset. You're doing great! I wish you the best of luck with the rest of your project. :)

  2. Hi! It is very clear from the beginning that you are growing with your project, which is a great thing to be able to read. Each blog post includes comments to yourself or different ideas/thoughts. It adds a different dimension to your project that adds to it's overall success. It allows me to understand the decisions you are making as well as make me feel connected to you on a personal level. Great job there! I would of liked to see a blog post or more detail as to why you chose the genre you did but you overall explained both options very clearly. I was unable to open your recent video (the one included in this blog post). Check on that and fix it because it would be a nice addition to your blog. Overall very well done! Continue expressing your thought processes and expressing your own voice!! Good luck on your project!
